About Me as an Artist

Hey there my dude and welcome to my digital portfolio!!! Pretty cool right?

My name is Rowan and I am an 18 year old self-commissioned artist in West Virginia. I have been creating art since I could pick up a pencil and enjoy every minute of it.  In fact, I use it to decompress and escape reality because let's just all admit it, ADULTING SUCKS. He he he! I first showed interest in painting (specifically) in the 7th or 8th grade. I have been doing so since then and continue to do so not just for enjoyment purposes and stress relief, but to also promote my production of works as a commissioned hobby and express my inner most emotions and thoughts.

Through this class and use of different mediums, techniques, and endless amounts of dedication and creativity, I hope to push my artistic limits and grow as both an artist and a person (generally speaking). Hope you enjoy!
